About Us
Welcome to Jarvis Light Up, a thrilling holiday house decorating contest that has been enchanting the community of Jarvis, Ontario, Canada since 2020. At Jarvis Light Up, we believe in spreading joy, igniting the holiday spirit, and fostering a strong sense of togetherness among our community members.
Jarvis Light Up was born out of the creative minds of Elf Lisa, Elf Howie, Elf Ernie, and Elf Nick, with the invaluable assistance of Santa himself. These passionate individuals recognized the power of holiday decorations in brightening spirits and bringing people together during the festive season. Determined to create a memorable experience for the community, they organized Jarvis Light Up with a singular goal in mind: to create a magical spectacle that would leave everyone in awe.
Since its inception, Jarvis Light Up has become a beloved tradition in the community, eagerly awaited by residents and visitors alike. Each year, the contest invites participants to transform their homes into dazzling displays of holiday cheer. The sight of illuminated houses, adorned with twinkling lights, charming ornaments, and festive decorations, brings a touch of wonder and warmth to the wintry landscape.
In addition to the holiday house decorating contest, Jarvis Light Up also organizes a variety of exciting events throughout the season. One such event is the Jarvis Rumble Firework Night, a spectacular display of fireworks that lights up the night sky and fills the air with a symphony of colors and bursts of joy. This enchanting event attracts people from near and far, who gather to celebrate the magic of the season and create lasting memories with their loved ones.
